Welcome to Hindu Dharma Samudaya!
Hindu Dharma is Anadi (beginningless) and Apurusheya (founderless). It is based upon the devine wisdom of the cosmic truth contained in Srutis and Smritis. It believes in one, all pervasive supreme-being or Para-Bhrama which manifests in different forms. Despite multitude of gods and goddesses in the pantheon, it is believed that worship and prayers to any one of the god-forms will be directed to the same Supreme Being. It suggests people should aim for Purusarthas or four goals in life:- Dharma, Artha, Kama and Moksha in four life-stages or Aashramas viz. Bhramacharya, Grihasta, Vanaprastha and Sanyasa in a regulated manner. In this context, unity with the supreme-being or liberation should be the ultimate quest in human life. The path of Dharma enables human being to be content and happy in this life, free from suffering and ultimately attain liberation or Moksha from this Karmic cycle of birth and re-birth. In this context, liberation requires god-realisation and righteous living in the form of tapa (austerity), saucha (purity), (daya) compassion and satya (truthfulness).
Liberation or eternal bliss can be attained through right Karma (action), Jnana (knowledge), Bhakti (devotion) and Dhyana (self-control). Each of these paths led to the Para-Bhrama and people have choice of the paths depending upon their natural tendencies and spiritual capacities. As a conglomeration of different philosophies and practices, Hindu Dharma is non-dogmatic and all inclusive. In essence, it is a way of living that intends to secure both worldly joys and supreme happiness in life.
Hindu Dharma Samudaya, adhering to core values of Sanatana Dharma or eternal righteousness, aspires to facilitate spiritual growth and development for inner peace, prosperity, happiness and attainment of ultimate Moksha. The Sanskrit prayer “ Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina; Sarve Santu Niramaya; Sarve Bhadrani Pasyantu; Ma Kaschid-Dukha-Bhag-Bhavet” aptly conveys our wishes. May all be happy and free from disabilities; may all behold what is auspicious and may none suffer from sorrow.
